Prepare for the end of life in this peer-facilitated group while making a beautiful piece of pottery from clay. While the topics will be weighty, the tone will be light-hearted and supportive. This is the gift I am giving myself and my family members - preparing for my dying and death. Over this past year, I’ve had many experiences with people’s loved ones during and after their death that became unbearable not only because of the losses and grief unfolding, but by the lack of direction to honour last wishes.
This is Part 1 in a 3-part series. All sessions are stand alone, with each session covering a different topic related to end-of-life and after death preparation.
This first session focuses on Advance Care planning, and will cover topics that range from clarifying your intentions and personal death philosophies to medical options at end of life, and having difficult conversations with loved ones. We will also discuss financial considerations for end-of-life.
